Tickets

You must always travel with tour ticket correctly validated and cancelled, considering your personal and particular characteristics. Children under 4 are exempt from ticket validation obligation.

Keep your ticket always in order when travelling.

Show it when asked by TMB staff and keep it in order together with the rest of documentation accrediting your ticket belonging right.

The non-fulfilment of these rules will be fined with a minimum perception of 50 €.

Smoking
Smoking is not permitted inside the metro facilities.

No smoking inside the buses.

Roller-skates or the like
It is not permitted to enter the metro's installations on roller-skates or the like, nor to travel with material which could cause inconvenience or prove dangerous to other passengers.

Bus. It is forbidden to travel with roller-skates, or to have noxious or hazardous substances which may offend or cause harm to other passengers.

Bicycles

Bicycles may be taken on the metro on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays. And everyday during the months of July and August. On weekdays and during the rest of the year, from 5:00 a.m.to 7:00 a.m., from 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and from 8:30 p.m. until closing hour.

Bus: acces is forbidden.

Animals
Metro and Bus.The only animals that are authorised to travel are guide dogs, dogs accompanying security guards or pets which are transported in special containers to prevent them from dirtying their surroundings or from inconveniencing other users.

Luggage
Luggage dimensions should not exceed 100 x 60 x 25 cm.

Pushchairs or prams
Metro.When travelling with pushchairs or prams, it is recommended that they be carried folded. If this is not possible, they must be placed in the central section which is marked accordingly.
Bus.If you need to travel with a pushchair, please fold it up. Otherwise, place it on the platform in the middle of the bus, as indicated

Selling and advertising
The selling of products and the distribution of unauthorised advertising material are strictly forbidden.

Behaviour
It is obligatory to pay attention to employees' indications, signs and announcements as well as to respect and make proper use of our facilities.
It is obligatory to give up your seat to those deserving special attention.
