In all the bus stops you can find useful
information to plan your trip and general information on public
transport:
Name of the stop, number of the stop, lines going past the stop
designed as a strip, and in the canopies you will also find
the underground map, the map of the Nit Bus, information on
tickets and travelcards, custormer service telephone numbers
and information on regulations. |

General map of the net
EThe general map of TMB bus net can be found on the outside
of the canopies.
The most important features of this map are the streets map,
the route of the lines, and the crossings and connections.
It includes all the stops and the direction of the line. The
lines are easy to tell apart by the colours. Also, the area's
interesting spots are included, green spaces and monuments,
represented to be used as a reference. Also, all the information
on the underground, and FGC (Catalonian Generalitat Railways),
Renfe, cable car and Blue Tram can be found
.

Strip
EAt the bus stop, you will also find the Strip with the route
of each line going past that bus stop. The Strip shows you the
route of the bus with a cartographic design on a background
of the city. This way it is easier to find the stops, and the
line crossings. Also, the strip shows the interest spots along
the route, transfers with other means of transport (underground,
railway…) and a detailed timetable(Bus de Barri) or intervals
and frequency (Bus), as well as a map of the situation of the
line in the city, which facilitates the direction to be taken.

Informative screens
EThese screens display several types of information, as the
identification of the line, where it is heading and the arrival
time in minutes, as well as possible incidences that may affect
the Bus service.
Along the year 2002 meetings have been held with the representatives
of FECSA-ENDESA, Enllumenat Públic i Semàfors
de l'Ajuntament de Barcelona,(Board of Electricity and traffic
lights of Barcelona ) as well as various suppliers, for the
fitting of 28 information screens at the bus stops, which
will be added to the already existing 15. These screens, a
joint project with the SAE, allows the customer to know the
waiting time. We can conclude by saying that this new technology
gives access to information at the stops on the time remaining
for the next bus to arrive on each line
