How can you buy your Travel Cards for Metro and Bus?
Purchasing them on-line is easy and secure.

1. Choose the type of Travel Card and the quantity you wish.
2. Select your type of credit or debit card.
3. Include your personal information.
4. Note your credit card number and its expiration date.
5. Finalize the purchase of your tickets.

You will then receive a confirmation e-mail with the main details, which we recommend you print for future reference.

Which Travel Cards may you purchase?
On the Internet you may buy Travel Cards for 2, 3, 4 and 5 days, allowing unlimited travel via TMB bus and metro without limitations in Barcelona during the corresponding days, beginning from the first validation.

Prices of the Travel Cards
The Travel Card prices are the officially established tariffs valid for each year, without any addicional cost and include the IVA and AOV taxes. Stamping your Travel Cards is obligatory when using all transport services.

What about the validity of the tickets?
Each Travel Card is valid until the price changes which are made at the beginning of the year. Once these prices have been modified, it's possible to use your Travel Cards until the 28th of February.

For which means of transport may I use my 2, 3, 4 and 5 day Travel Cards?
The Travel Cards may be used as many times (during the corresponding days) as you wish in metro and TMB buses, as well as on the urban lines of the Railways of the Generalitat of Catalonia (FGC).

Is it more expensive to buy via Internet?
The price of the Travel Cards is the same as that offered at the customary sales outlets of TMB.

In the case of on-line sales, the only costs added are those for mailing via Certified Mail (2,50 € for each mailing); it's the safest way to guarantee that your Travel Cards reach you directly. Very little indeed, when you take into account the security and convenience of being able to buy your Travel Cards on the Internet, at all hours of the day.

Is it safe to buy using this system?
TMB employs a secure server to ensure the encription of your personal information and credit card data. In addition, we protect your privacy by our strict adherence to the latest Spanish and European privacy legislation. (For more details, please consult the section "Privacy" on this site.)

What other advantages do I obtain by buying the tickets on the Internet?
In addition to the convenience and time you save, during the purchase process you may also choose to sign up for “TMB Plus!”, our e-mail notification service. This way, you will always be up-to-date on the latest TMB promotions and discounts!
