Two very different but equally interesting options
At this stop you can enjoy two very different activities: take a walk along the beach and have a swim, or visit Barcelona’s oldest cemetery. Bogatell beach is one of the six city beaches, all of which are equipped with every amenity and offer top quality bathing. The new beaches, which reaffirm the present-day Mediterranean character of the city, contrast with the memory of the past in a cemetery of outstanding interest. Poblenou cemetery, the first to be built outside the city walls in 1775, takes you on a walking tour of the history of the city throughout the 19th century, until the time of the Universal Exhibition of 1888. A unique opportunity to find out what the city of the living was like through the city of the dead.
